The Sacred Sanctuary Candle lit Yin Yoga sessions have proven very satisfying and exactly what I needed. I was suffering with back pain from past injuries (nothing very serious) and hip and other joint pains from been on my feet long days and strenuous physical work over the years. The long stretches in yin yoga have helped immensely! The relaxed environment and meditation & breath work involved has proven an added positive, helping me to relax, focus and take my mind of the various stresses that were plaguing me as a self employed person setting up another new business. Vinyasa classes help to increase flexibility and strength and are a great work out for the whole body. Open to everyone whether you’re a complete beginner or practice yoga often.

Sara’s Candlelit Yin class was an incredibly soothing and restorative experience. The gentle glow of candlelight and low lighting created a nurturing, peaceful atmosphere that immediately helped me feel grounded. I arrived feeling a little anxious and overwhelmed, but by the end of the session, it felt as though all my worries had melted away. 

Sara’s guidance throughout was beautifully gentle and encouraging. She supported us through each pose in a way that felt both safe and empowering. The studio itself added to the sense of sanctuary — thoughtfully set with props, incense, and soft music, it was a truly tranquil setting for a Friday evening unwind.

I also love Sara’s other yoga classes, particularly her more active Vinyasa-based classes. These offer an excellent workout while staying deeply connected to the breath — a powerful combination that always leaves me feeling stronger, more centred, and uplifted.

A fabulous retreat...great to just 'stop' and make time for yourself!

The breathe into being retreat with the lovely Sara was nothing short of life-changing. From the very beginning, there was a deep sense of care and presence in the space she created one that felt safe, supportive, and gently powerful.

The breathwork was at the heart of the day, and it truly shifted something deep within me. I had been carrying emotions that felt stuck for years - grief, tension, unspoken sadness and through Sara’s gentle and skilful guidance, something finally gave way. The release was powerful and very real. It was emotional, it was intense and it was wonderful. Like my body and soul had been waiting for this exact moment to finally let go.

Sara holds space with such kindness and deep wisdom. Her presence made it possible for me to go to the places I had been avoiding and come out lighter, clearer, and more connected to who I really am.

This retreat wasn’t just a beautiful day it was a turning point. I left with a sense that something lasting had changed within me, and I’m so deeply grateful to Sara for guiding me there.
